 1. Courses and Events


Bookings

1.1. All applicants should complete a printed application form and must provide a purchase order number. Application forms can be sent by post or email.

Health & Safety Course bookings

1.2. When booking a H&S course, you are agreeing that we will conduct training at your school and have access to the relevant machine(s).
Please note: the H&S course fee buys training for up to 6 teachers. Accreditation is with the D&T Association and subject to their accreditation fee as listed in the course information. This accreditation fee is per teacher and is not included in the course fee.

Booking deadlines

1.3. Please book at least 10 days before the event as we cannot guarantee last minute bookings. All bookings are processed on a first come, first served basis. If making a late booking, please telephone Curriculum Solutions to check availability.

Special requirements

1.4. Meal arrangements always include a vegetarian option. Please inform us of any other special requirements (e.g. special diets or mobility issues), when booking. We will try to meet all reasonable requests.

Booking confirmation

1.5. We will confirm receipt of your booking via e-mail. We will also e-mail your confirmation, with a map link to the venue, within 14 days of the event. We recommend that you do not book travel tickets/accommodation or confirm your transport arrangements to the event until these final details have been received in writing, by email.

Prices

1.6. The prices of courses are as advertised on our website and published brochures. These prices exclude VAT. Prices may change without prior notice, but changes will not affect bookings which have already been made.

Payment of delegate fees

1.7. We will raise an invoice for the appropriate school/college or Local Authority. If you are not linked to a registered school/college/Local Authority please inform us at the time of booking.
1.8. Once you have reserved your place, your school/college/Local Authority is responsible for making appropriate payment(s).
1.9. All invoices must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date and prior to attending the course.

Postponements and cancellations by Curriculum Solutions Ltd

1.10. We reserve the right to re-schedule or cancel an event but will give you as much notice as possible. We are not responsible for associated costs incurred by a delegate or their organisation:
o when booking onto/attending an event
o arising from cancellation/postponement
o arising from misunderstanding of/inaccuracies in Curriculum Solutions Ltd information.
1.11. If we cancel an event, we will credit delegate fees.

Events beyond our control

1.12. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performing of, any of our obligations, due to events outside of our control (‘Force Majeure Event’).
o Events beyond our control include: civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks – epidemic, pandemic, technical problems with transport – impossibility of the use of railways or other means of public transport, your or family illnesses, bereavements, actual or potential weather conditions and any other similar events, non-happening due to the inability of any presenter to deliver the workshop due to illness or injury in circumstances in which he/she cannot be replaced.
1.13. Our performance under any contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure event continues. We will use our reasonable endeavours to find a solution by which our obligation under the contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure event. This means we will postpone the course to another date if this is possible and offer you place(s) at the postponed course.

Delegate booking amendments/cancellations

1.14. You can cancel/amend a booking. To request a credit, we must receive your request either online or in writing at least seven days before the event. To cancel a booking after this time, please contact Curriculum Solutions by telephone. Credits are not given for bookings cancelled within seven days of the event.
1.15. To transfer from one event/session to another, please contact Curriculum Solutions by telephone.


2. General Information


2.1. You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions to any third party unless agreed upon in writing by Curriculum Solutions Limited.
2.2. Curriculum Solutions Limited reserve the right to transfer or assign all or any of its rights, duties and responsibilities set out in the Terms and Conditions to another party.
2.3. Headings have been included for convenience only and will not be used in construing any provision of the Terms and Conditions.
2.4. No delay or failure by Curriculum Solutions Limited to exercise any powers, rights or remedies under these Terms and Conditions will operate as a waiver of them nor will any single or partial exercise of any such powers, rights or remedies include any other or further exercise of them.
2.5. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 will not apply to these Terms and Conditions.
2.6. These Terms and Conditions contain the whole agreement between the parties relating to the purchase of Products and/or Services and supersede all previous agreements between the parties relating to the purchase of Products and/or Services.
